I look forward to seeing you on the mat, or in the trees

Hi I’m Gabrielle and I guide in Yoga, Forest Bathing and soon, (in training) Pilates.

I grew up with dance at the centre of my life: ballet was my first love and is the blueprint for all my movement practices. I quit ballet to go to university, but missed the structure of it and in hindsight the movement as medicine it gave me. In my twenties I discovered yoga, drawn to its physicality to begin with. This soon evolved to become the beginning of a very healing and grounding journey (which I am still on) and I trained as a yoga teacher in 2013. In my thirties, time spent living in a van travelling Europe led me to calm my then highly anxious mind via nature, the particular moment it hit was in the cold and bewilderingly still Spomenik Prirode woods of Serbia. The space between the trees allowed my mind to rest for a while. I discovered what had helped me had a name (everything does!) so I trained in Forest Bathing on my return to the UK in 2020 (whilst also pregnant with my little girl). More recently, my little boy came along and the desire for more strength on my Motherhood journey has led me to Pilates, in which I am currently training and loving. I can’t wait to share this practice too.

For each of these complimentary practices, I guide from a place of intuition, always using breathe as the compass. I endeavour to help you find your inner calm and your natural unconditioned sense of being: just fine, as you are.

My teaching is based on in-depth trainings in Ballet, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Somatic techniques, Pranayama and Kriya, Reiki, Forest Bathing, Mindfulness, and soon, Mat Pilates.
